Shannon is a NIDA Graduate of both the Bachelor of Dramatic in 2007, and the "Singer, Dancer Actor" course in 2004. A performer on both stage and screen, Shannon's various film credits include appearances include CHYNNA in "Packed to the Rafters" (Network 7), KIMBERLEY in East West 101 (SBS), MABEL in Tough Nuts (FOXTEL), and SARAH in "Bargain" (Tropfest short film finalist). Her most recent stage credits include EVELYN WILLIAMS in the Hayes theatre’s 2019 production of American psycho, one woman show DIANA directed by Tait de Lorenzo, HELENE in Tony Knight's NIDA graduate production of "Sweet Charity", MINDY in "Poster Girl" by awarding winning playwright and novelist Van Badham, and D-STAR in "Snatch Paradise", which was performed at the Edinburgh Festival in 2009. She has also appeared in the feature film ‘Baby Teeth’ directed by Shannon Murphy and the ‘Les Norton’ which is currently airing in the ABC. Shannon is also the founder of Retrosweat: the authentic 1980s freestyle aerobic workout. Retrosweat combines Shannon’s love of iconic and timeless pop music, vintage fashion, her passion for mental and physical wellness and mission to make dance and movement easy, enjoyable and accessible to Everybody. Shannon loves using Retrosweat as a vehicle to take participants on a theatrical and joyous time travelling journey through which they can forget their 21st century troubles, lose their inhibitions and find their inner child, all while getting a killer calorie burn.
