Youngeun Cho

Piano / Professional Accompanist

"I’d like to quote one of my favourite pianists, Artur Schnabel saying 'The notes I handle no better than many pianists. But the pauses between the notes - ah, that is where the art resides.' I believe even silence is a part of music. From the minute you sit on the piano chair, your journey to music starts!"

Youngeun is from Korea. She has been playing the piano for her entire life. Influenced by her mother who was a Jazz pianist, Youngeun has been surrounded by music since she was born. Upon her mothers wishes, Youngeun studied more classical music however she still loves to play jazz as it reminds her of home and family.

Youngeun majored in Education and completed a certificate course of teaching piano by Korean Education Evaluation Institution. She is able to play and teach every kind of piano music from the very classics such as Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin and the 20th classical music such as Debussy and Rachmaninoff. She loves listening to music, talking about it and about the musicians.

Melody Huang

Piano / Musicianship / Professional Accompanist

I am a young, dynamic and enthusiastic concert pianist, chamber musician and composer based in Sydney. Having completed my undergraduate degree in the U.K, I was subsequently offered a scholarship to undertake a Master of Music in Piano Performance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.I am a prize-winner of multiple music competitions, festivals and scholarships throughout Australia and had the opportunity to perform live on 2MBS FM.

With over 6 years of teaching experience privately and in independent music schools in Australia and abroad, I tailor lessons to the needs of the individual student. Lessons may include detailed technical guidance, performance and learning psychology as well as advanced learning strategies, incorporating elements of music history, harmony and theory. As an innovative and flexible pianist, I also have a background in composition, arranging and orchestration with specific experience in film music composition and music production.

As a piano teacher, I am looking for somebody to share my passion and experience with, in a friendly and relaxed manner. I am particularly keen to teach dedicated students of any age, whether this be at a beginner or advanced level. No matter what your level is, if you want to study professionally or for yourself, if you love music and desperately want to improve I am looking forward to hearing from you!
