“I love teaching the piano, and to see the students grow and develop as the weeks go by. I believe music is such an important part of someone’s life, and to begin this early for children can bring so much joy. It helps foster their creativity and learning skills, while having a profound influence in so many other areas of their life."
Michael has taught the piano with Imperial Artistry since 2015.
Originally from New Zealand, he studied the piano from the age of six, and in 2009 received a distinction average in an Associate Diploma, Recital in Piano, through Trinity College London.
He has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Canterbury, an Advanced Diploma in Acting from Actor’s Centre Australia, and is the co-founder of Cross Pollinate Productions, an independent theatre company, acting and producing plays around Sydney. He has taught musical theatre holiday programs at ATYP (Australian Theatre for Young People), alongside Simon Burke.
